Obituary for Nicholas Paul Cross

Nicholas Paul Cross, 27, of Beverly and formerly of Byfield, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 30.

He was born in Boston, November 23, 1990, one of triplets to Peter Cross of Byfield and Gretchen (Thoma) Christensen of Methuen.

A 2009 graduate of Triton High School, Nick attended Northern Essex Community College. While at Triton he was captain of the wrestling team, played soccer and also ran track.

He was employed at Fiore Construction, Beverly and previously at Creative Masonry and Design, Portland, ME.

Nick was a very kind and compassionate person, loved by all for his outgoing personality and sense of humor. Always the entertainer, it brought Nick great pleasure to make those around him happy.

Besides his parents his survivors include two brothers, Peter Cross and his wife Sarah of Braintree, Ben Cross of Methuen, two sisters, Alexandra Cross of Winnetka, IL, Avery Christensen of Methuen, his significant other Ruth Turcotte of Beverly, maternal grandparents, Michael and Lois Thoma of Methuen and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Sunday afternoon, May 6, from 1 to 4 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Nick was an avid dog lover and contributions in his memory may be made to Vested Interest in K9’s.
