Obituary for Ruth E. Lipkind

Ruth E. (Carvitt) Lipkind, 90, of Haverhill, died Monday, February 5, at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley, Haverhill.
She was born in Boston, October 30, 1927, daughter of the late Nathan and Bertha (Gorfinkle) Carvitt.
Educated in the Boston school system, Mrs. Lipkind graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School as well as Newton Junior College.
She was employed as a Real Estate Broker in the Merrimack Valley for several years.
She was the wife of the late William Lipkind and her survivors include a daughter, Lee Moshirfar and her husband Frank of Danvers, a stepson, Les Lipkind and his wife Leslie of Newbury, grandchildren, Erica Reed and her husband Edward, Catherine Moshirfar and her husband Brian Hayes, Jessica and Janna Lipkind, and three great grandchildren, Daniel and Elizabeth reed and Joshua Hayes.
Funeral services were private with burial in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill & Bradford.
