Obituary for Paul J. Gilbert

Paul J. Gilbert, 83, of Bradford passed away January 13, at Sutton Hill Center in North Andover.

He was born in Haverhill on March 30, 1934, son of the late Emile and Dorothy (Fecteau) Gilbert.

Paul attended the Haverhill schools and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was employed at Brentwood Furniture for 27 years and later at Covanta Energy in Ward Hill for over 20 years. Paul enjoyed fishing.

He was the husband of the late Betty (Miller) Gilbert and father of the late Janet Carlino and Diane Quartrale.

Paul is survived by his twin sons Bruce Gilbert and his wife Tanya, and Brian Gilbert; daughter Paula Yannalfo all of Haverhill; brother Burton Gilbert and his wife Joanne of Newburyport; five grandchildren Samantha Carlino, Adrian Yannalfo, Mason, Ashley and Marissa Gilbert; as well as several nieces and nephews.

At his request, a private memorial service will be held at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home. Inurnment in the Linwood Mausoleum will also be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions in his memory may be made to the donor’s choice.
