Obituary for Robert M. Snyder

Robert M. Snyder, 83, of Plaistow, NH., passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Exeter Hospital. He was born in Everett on July 3, 1934 the son of the late Morris and Rena (Gladstone) Snyder. Robert graduated from Medford High School prior to earning his degree in accounting from Bentley University. He owned his own practice in Lexington and worked for accounting firms in Boston. He was happiest spending time with his family and had several hobbies including cars, aviation and a love of animals. His sense of humor and kindness will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mr. Snyder was predeceased by his daughter Lorietta Shactman, and a brother, Lester B. Snyder. He is survived by his loving wife Carol (Shwartz) Snyder, two daughters, Wendy Bush and her late husband Robert Bush of Plaistow and Nancy Nadler and husband Steven of York, ME., seven grandchildren, Sara Cloutier, Scott Shactman, Daniel Bush, Jordan Shactman, Haley Bush, Allison Driscoll and Rachel Nadler, and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were private. Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.
