Obituary for Philip A. Scouffas

Philip A. Scouffas, 82, of Haverhill passed away unexpectedly June 20th at his home.

He was born on March 9, 1935 in Haverhill, son of the late Aristomenes & Maria (Tatamanis) Scouffas.

Philip was educated in the Haverhill School, graduating class of 1955. He was employed at Vernon Plastics for 33 years until his retirement in 2000.

Mr. Scouffas was an active member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Apostles Saints Peter and Paul in Haverhill where he served as choir director and sexton.

He was also a longtime member of Saggahew Lodge A.F. & A.M..

He is survived by his adopted family, Laurie Leveille of Hampstead, NH and Rebecca Weeks of Exeter, NH.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Monday afternoon, June 26, from 12:30 to 1:30 at the Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154-156 Winter St. Haverhill. His Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 at the Church. Interment will be in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill & Bradford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Holy Apostles Sts.
