Obituary for Linda Cordeau

Linda (True) Cordeau, 68, of Haverhill, passed away Saturday evening, June 24, at the Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley, Haverhill.

Linda was born on November 10, 1948 in Newburyport and grew up in Salisbury. She was the daughter of Barbara (Jones) True of Salisbury and Bruce True Sr.

Linda was educated in the Newburyport school system and graduated from Newburyport High School. She furthered her education with the McIntosh Business School.

For many years Linda raised, bred, and showed AKC Championship Samoyeds. She enjoyed watching the Food Network and was an avid reader (she was never without a book in hand). Linda also held the position of the Family Forecaster by keeping us all up to date with the weather.

She was predeceased by her father Bruce True and two brothers, Bruce True Jr. and Bradley True.

Linda is survived by her mother Barbara True of Salisbury, two daughters, Cassandra Campbell and her husband Patrick of Salisbury, MA and Vikki Montisanti and her husband Jeff of Salisbury, MA, a sister Darlene Toomey of Florida, three grandchildren, Calandra Pinette and her husband Francis of Manchester, NH., Adam Montisanti and Alyssa Montisanti both of Salisbury, Ma., as well as several nieces, nephews and close friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her graveside service at Long Hill Cemetery, 105 Beach Road, Salisbury on Friday, June 30 at 1:00 PM. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill and Bradford. To share a memory or for more information, please visit
