Obituary for Gary D'Orazio

Gary F. D’Orazio, 53, of Bradford, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

He was born in Haverhill, March 27, 1964, son of Joseph S. D’Orazio of Bradford and the late Joanne F. (Lebro) D’Orazio, who died in January of this year.

Educated in the Haverhill school system, Gary graduated from Haverhill High School where he lettered in baseball and golf. Upon graduating he attended Salem State College.

A physical fitness enthusiast, Gary was a member of Choice Fitness, Haverhill, Haverhill Country Club, Bradford Country Club and Atkinson Country Club. He also enjoyed bowling.

Gary was the brother of the late Lisa J. (D’Orazio) Dion who died in 2016.

Besides his father his survivors include a niece, Tara L. Dion, a nephew, Brandon P. Dion both of Haverhill as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Thursday, Nov. 16, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford. His Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Nov. 17, at 11:00 in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society at Sacred Hearts Church, 48 So. Chestnut St., Bradford, MA 01835.
