Obituary for David J. Rich

David J. Rich, 60, of Merrimac, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 21, at Lawrence General Hospital.

He was born in Providence, RI, April 18, 1957, son of the late Betty Jane Rich.

Educated in the Rhode Island school system, David earned his Bachelors Degree in Business from the former New Hampshire College.

For over 30 years he was employed at Azonix Corp., N. Billerica, most recently as a Senior Analyst.

An avid golfer, Mr. Rich cherished time spent with his grandsons and attending their sporting events.

His survivors include his wife of 42 years, Dorothy (Gore) Rich, a daughter, Jennifer Tineo and her husband Francisco, two grandsons, Matthew David Tineo and Christopher Joseph Tineo all of Merrimac as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Thursday, November 30 from 4:00 to 7:00 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:15 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
