Obituary for Daniel L. Acevedo

Daniel L. Acevedo, 28, of Worcester and formerly of Haverhill, passed away unexpectedly in Worcester on Monday, June 5th.

He was born in Haverhill on Dec. 24, 1989 the son of Joleen (McClanahan) Labour and Jacinto Labour.

Daniel was educated in the Haverhill school system and attended Haverhill High School. He was employed as a chef for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Marissa (Rivera) Acevedo of Worcester, five children, Audrianna Rivera, Daniel Jr., Dana, Adalia and Arilyn Acevedo, two brothers, Javier and his wife Barbarella Acevedo of Brownsville TX and Alberto Acevedo Jr. and his fiancé Brianna Dumas of Haverhill, a sister, Joleneia Acevedo and her significant other Abraham Santiago of Haverhill as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hour on Tuesday, June 12, from 5-7PM at the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 13 at 11AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Haverhill. To share a memory or for more information, please visit
